Taste of Japan: Day 03

We started off the morning by going to Denny's. Sounds weird, doesn't it? Go all the way to the other side of the world, and we go to Denny's for breakfast? That's what our initial thought was, but after seeing the menu from the window, we had to go! The first picture below was what I had for breakfast, and that was my reason for going :)

Today we went to the happiest place on earth; Tokyo Disneyland! We went at around 10am on a Monday, but it was still packed with people! We've never been to Disneyland before, so we thought we'd try it out. We went on a few rides, had Mickey Mouse shaped waffles, and a burger that had the bun shaped as Mickey Mouse's gloves!

In the evening, we went to a Ninja themed restaurant, where everything was Ninja -- Ninja hostesses, Ninja waitors, Ninja environment, Ninja room, Ninja shaped food, Ninja tricks -- you get the idea :) It was definitely a fun and interesting experience!

After dinner, we decided to check out Tokyo Tower, Tokyo's broadcast tower (which would soon to be taken over by the new Sky Tree). Tokyo Tower is modelled after the Eiffel Tower and is lit up during the night. The lights also turn off at 10pm, which we found out by experience. It was around 959pm when we started getting close to the tower and had a decent view. Literally a few seconds later, the lights turned off. I had to take a picture since we were there, lights off and all, so that explains the quality of the picture...for those interested, the ISO setting was 6400 and I didn't have a tripod :)
